Robert S. Whitney Hall, The Kentucky Center
A 2,406-seat, multipurpose concert facility, Whitney Hall can accommodate everything from the most elaborate touring Broadway extravaganzas to the more modest requirements of a chamber music ensemble. Named for the eminent former conductor of the Louisville Orchestra, this theater has exemplary acoustics, comfortable seats and uninterrupted sight lines to ensure that every patron enjoys their theatrical experience to the fullest. Local arts organizations currently utilizing Whitney Hall include the PNC Bank Broadway Across America-Louisville, the Louisville Ballet, The Louisville Orchestra, Kentucky Opera, as well as The Kentucky Center Presents.

Moritz von Bomhard Theater, The Kentucky Center
The Bomhard Theater, named for the man who helped organize and nurture opera in Louisville a half-century ago, provides a more intimate, though no less thrilling venue than its sister stage, Whitney Hall. With 619 seats, the Bomhard is an ideal facility for musical performances and smaller-scale dance and theater. It also serves as the home for Stage One, Louisville’s Family Theater. Steeply raked aisles provide a clear view of the stage from any seat. Of particular interest is the dramatic stage backdrop, the artwork Orchestra Luna by Kentucky artist Rodney Hatfield/ARTSNAKE.
The Moritz von Bomhard Theater is a dynamic venue. It is a non-union house, also has an extensive technical inventory and a flat fee schedule that does not include theater services such as ticketing and house management. MeX Theater (Boyd Martin Experimental Theater), The Kentucky Center
A space as unique and versatile as the imaginative artists who perform upon its stage, the MeX is a simple "black box" with a maximum seating capacity of 139. Named in honor of long-time theatre and film critic of the Courier-Journal Boyd Martin, the theater was dedicated in 1988. Since then, it has become a favorite venue for local arts and theater groups, providing a blank slate for original plays, innovative productions of the classics, music, dance and literary readings.
The Boyd Martin Experimental Theater is a true gem of The Kentucky Center. It is a non-union house, has an ample technical inventory and a fee schedule based on seating configurations that includes such theater services as ticketing and house management. The Brown Theatre
Also managed by The Kentucky Center is the W. L. Lyons Brown Theatre, located at 315 West Broadway.
Hearkening back to the glory days of Louisville's theater district, the Brown Theatre is a lavish, lovingly restored showplace. State-of-the-art technology combines with Old World splendor to create a performance space as beautiful to look at as it is comfortable to sit in. Seating approximately 1,400 patrons, the Brown stands today as the Grand Dame of Louisville's artistic community.
